Here we are... It's 2026. The world is fucked. But we sail onward. This is EVYC SHOP's new home. (for now) TBH, in '25 I was all over the place when it came to design. There was no cohesive direction, much like my life thus far...
But now we're back! The OG Colourpop outline graphic was the first design that I was actually satisfied with. It was eye-catching, bold, and colourful, and evoked the 90s neon aesthetic that I loved growing up with. I was experimenting a lot in 2025, but the only thing that really sold was that graphic. So now it's the centerpiece for the whole collection. Simplicity is key.
I've always been a fan of streetwear, and especially graphic t-shirts. I remember hunting for Bape on Ebay over 20 years ago, digging for Supreme when it was made here in Canada, and The Hundreds customizable paisley hoodie... I desperately wanted to make streetwear, but I couldn't commit to it. I felt like a fraud. Why would anyone want to buy my shit? What did I represent? Where was the authenticity?
Obviously, it had to look cool and be my own creation, but that wasn't enough for me. It needed authenticity, a story. Well, here we are decades later, and I have a story to tell you...
